Please read this Policy before using the Service. By registering, signing in, or using CitePath, you acknowledge the practices described here. Related terms are in the Terms of Service.
1. Information We Collect
We process information only as needed to provide the Service, which may include:
1.1 Account and identity information
- Email address used for registration and sign-in;
- Password (stored using encryption/hashing or similar safeguards; we cannot recover your plaintext password);
- Email verification send/verify records;
- Account status, sign-in times, and related security audit data.
1.2 Brand and workspace configuration
- Domains, brand names, competitors, topics/keywords, prompt libraries, and other settings you submit;
- Brand materials and business context needed for monitoring, diagnostics, and content guidance.
1.3 Usage and device information
- Access logs, feature usage records, and error logs;
- Browser type, operating system, language preference, and approximate region (e.g., inferred from IP);
- Cookies and local storage for session state and preferences (such as locale).
1.4 Connector and authorization information
If you connect third-party services, we may process information within the scope you authorize, such as:
- API credentials or configuration needed for site/CMS publishing;
- OAuth tokens from Google or similar platforms and read-only analytics data you choose to sync (e.g., Search Console / Analytics-related data).
You may revoke authorization in the third-party platform or in-product where supported.
1.5 Payment-related information
If you purchase paid services, payment is typically handled by third-party processors (e.g., WeChat Pay, Alipay). We may receive order IDs, payment status, amounts, and promo details needed to fulfill the order. We do not store full card numbers or payment passwords.
1.6 Information you provide voluntarily
For example, issue descriptions, attachments, and contact details submitted via the Help Center, support, or feedback channels.
2. How We Use Information
We may use the information above to:
- create and maintain accounts, verify identity, and protect sign-in security;
- provide AI visibility monitoring, reports, Issues diagnostics, content drafting/optimization guidance, and related features;
- perform connector actions you initiate (such as publishing or data sync);
- process orders, unlock entitlements, reconcile billing, and provide support;
- improve the product, troubleshoot issues, and protect system and account security;
- send necessary service notices (verification codes, security alerts, material changes);
- process information as otherwise required by law or with your additional consent.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Processors, Sharing, and Third Parties
To operate the Service, we may share information with or engage processors in these categories as needed:
- Cloud infrastructure and operations providers for hosting, storage, and security;
- Email/messaging providers for verification codes and service notices;
- AI model or analysis providers to generate analyses and content suggestions, transmitting only what is necessary for your request;
- Payment providers for collection and reconciliation;
- Third-party platforms you authorize (such as a CMS or Google services) within your chosen scope.
We require partners to apply reasonable confidentiality and security measures and to process information only for entrusted purposes.
We may also disclose information when:
- required by law, courts, or competent authorities;
- necessary to protect users, the public, or our legitimate rights;
- involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, in which case the successor must continue to honor this Policy or obtain fresh consent.

- keep you signed in;
- remember preferences such as language;
- support security and basic analytics.
You can manage cookies in your browser; disabling them may break features such as staying signed in.

We retain information for as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy, then delete or anonymize it, unless law requires longer retention or retention is needed for disputes or contract performance.
After account deletion, we stop providing the Service and delete or anonymize personal information as required, except records we must keep by law.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures such as access controls, encryption in transit, least-privilege access, and security auditing. No internet system is perfectly secure—please protect your credentials and avoid signing in on untrusted devices.

- request deletion or account closure where conditions are met;

Submit requests through in-product settings, the Help Center, or official support. After identity verification, we will respond within a reasonable time.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Service is intended for businesses and professional users. If you are a minor, use the Service only with guardian consent and guidance. We do not knowingly target minors for data collection; if we learn of inadvertent collection, we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page, and material changes will be highlighted via site notice or in-product messaging. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
